This series of images is an illustration of how one collection evolves into a similar but different new collection, and sometimes into a third. The success of Jungle Flower in New Directions led to the development of Exotica I, which then evolved into Exotica 2. Unfortunately, this image was found not successful, after the first image was lost. But now the exploration of foliage was underway and led to the development of Tropical, Growing, Flowers and Sunset Glow. In turn, this collection was judged to be incomplete and evolved further with the introduction of female figures.
